What is the ratio of p to r ?

(1) 2p/r = 30
(2) p/(3r) = 5

Answer: D
Source: official guide
Note: The ratio p to r can also be expressed using fraction notation to get p/r

Target question: What is the value of p/r ?
Aside: I altered the notation because the two statements are giving us information in fraction form

Statement 1: 2p/r = 30
Divide both sides of the equation by 2 to get: p/r = 15
Since we can answer the target question with certainty, statement 1 is SUFFICIENT

Statement 2: p/(3r) = 5
Multiply both sides of the equation by 3 to get: p/r = 15
Since we can answer the target question with certainty, statement 2 is SUFFICIENT

Answer: D
