Although it claims to delve into political issues, television can be superficial such as when each of the three major networks broadcast exactly the same statement from a political candidate.
(A) superficial such as when each of the three major networks
(B) superficial, as can sometimes occur if all of the three major networks
(C) superficial if the three major networks all
(D) superficial whenever each of the three major networks
(E) superficial, as when the three major networks each

A
each | broadcast is wrong

B
can sometimes occur

D
each | broadcast is wrong

confused between C and E
will go with E
because if is not needed as this is not conditional clause

C means
television can be superficial if network broadcasts the same thing
this indirectly says
if netwrok broadcast the same thing
it is superficial

whereas e says
when network broadcasts the same thing.. its superficial....
when clarifies the timing aspect....

Perhaps I am not able to put forward my words clearly...

This question tests the subject-verb agreement. The verb is "broadcast" and it requires a plural subject.

In (E), "major networks each" goes with "broadcast".
