Gmat

by yvonne12 » Sun Apr 15, 2007 8:47 am
I've been studying since,December and bought the Manhattan series, OG11, QR, VR. I've been scoring high 700's in the Gmat prep, but am a little nervous because I dont know if the GMAT prep is a real indicator of whether I'm truly ready. The GMAT prep has had repetitive questions on it and I suspect this might have skewed the scores. SO how do I know if I'm ready?

My test is scheduled on the 28th of this month. Can someone please give me some feedback?

If you see a lot of repeats in GMAT prep , which is rare, you can trust other materials like og 11 and check the accuracy. generally 90% in all sections is extre ordinary performance ... i dont know your expectations but i'd suggest you to take practise tests for practising and making a habit of sitting for 4 hrs...
i know many ppl who dont even check their test scores.

Thanks, I see your point. I've made a habit in taking the practice questions in the OG, QR,VR, and manhattan series every day followed by one Gmatprep test.

Hey, btw are there questions in the real GMAT that are from any of these books???

You won't see EXACT questions, but there is a chance that you may see similar questions.

On my GMAT, I encountered 1 or 2 math problems that looked almost identical to some math questions I had seen in OG, but with different numbers being used.

I can't guarantee that this kind of encounter will happen on your own GMAT, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

Best of luck!
