What are my realistic chances?

by sbgmat » Tue Oct 07, 2008 10:46 am
I have a Masters Degree in Computer Science with 5 years work experience. I have a 3.4 GPA in my masters program. What kind of score is a good score for me in the GMAT (I understand the higher the better)...but I just want to get a ballpark number based on past experiences. I am trying to get into a Fully Employed MBA.

Dear sbgmat,

I don't know as you did not provide enough information. Your masters GPA is important but your undergraduate GPA is equally important. Likewise, your professional work experience, extracurriculars, rationale for an MBA and career goals are all equally important to GMAT and GPA. So, the only answer I can really give you is you want the highest GMAT score you can possibly get. One that starts with a 7 is best and one that starts with a 6 is going to generally be competitive.

Good luck,
Lisa
