For non-negative integers \(x, y,\) and \(z,\) is \(x^z\) odd?

(1) The product \(xz\) is odd.
(2) \(x = 2^y\)

1. Product xz is odd,
This is possible when x and z are both odd, hence x^z will be odd, sufficient
2. x=2^y
y=0,x=1.
y=1,x=2
x^z can be even or odd depending on values of x, also we dont know value of z, not sufficient
