This is my first time posting to this website.
I first took the GMAT back in 2003 for MBA program. I got a 530 and was accepted into a great program. I hadn't really studied as much as I should've and was originally aiming for 580.
In 2007 I took the GMAT agan after not really studying much. BIG MISTAKE! I got a 490. This was enough discouragement that set me back confidence wise.
Now I am to take the GMAT again for the third time in November. I have 6 weeks to get on top of things. I just took the 1st GMAT Prep Test and got a 530. I felt like I had no clue where to start on some of the math questions. And I started to blank out when reading the Verbal section. I have been studying the books (more Q than V) but I have missed some days in between. I believe missing days has made me forget some things that I've tried to commit to memory.
I need HELP!! I can push back the test date to December, which is pushing it close to the deadlines (2-3 weeks to mail the scores). I just downloaded the flashcards and I'm trying to create a schedule for myself for the next 6 weeks. I've looked at some other posts for ideas on how to best prepare for the exam on a daily basis.
