INSEAD in Singapore may be a good fit for you, though I'd encourage you to evaluate their full-time options, too. At 26 and with an expected GMAT of 700 and an EE degree from a top school, you are very qualified but on the younger side of the range for INSEAD full time (29) and potentially not experienced enough for their part time program (37). I would love to help you! And I have a million questions (by the time we're done, maybe you WILL be old enough for that part-time program? Kidding!) Let's rip into this: Where do you work? What do you do? How quickly have you advanced? Do you have any leadership? What are your great achievements? Do you have notable community service or extracurriculars? Why are you applying? What are your ST and LT goals? All of these will play important roles in your evaluation & selling these stories correctly will be hugely important in your application.
As an engineer, I'd imagine one challenge will be to prove that you enjoy thinking about problems from a revenue growth, marketing and cost efficiency perspective. You'll need to emphasize your leadership experiences, especially those experiences in which you lead others outside of an engineering silo. INSEAD's offering is unique in that their alliance with Wharton would allow you to do a 6 wk study abroad in the states which might also be fun for you. Their Fontainebleau and Abu Dhabi locations offer the opportunity to theoretically spend your MBA in several different locations. Emphasizing your global experience and ambitions will especially resonate with a school like INSEAD. Although you are imminently qualified, you probably already know that INSEAD admissions are very competitive.
