After x minutes, the angle between the hands is 120 ° + x * 6 ° - x * 0.5 ° = 120 ° + x * 5.5 ° = 180. So, x * 5.5 ° = 60 ° and x = 600 / 55 = 120 / 11 = 10 + (10/11).
