Almost all of the residents of Lonelitown drink cheap bottled mineral water, and not the water supplied by the municipality. Therefore, the municipality should reduce the price paid for water if they are to encourage residents to go back to drinking it.

The above conclusion is properly drawn if which of the following is assumed?

a, The bottled water is imported from springs overseas.
b, The municipality's water supply is filtered through a sophisticated process.
c, Residents of Lonelitown are not dedicated to the livelihood of their municipality.
d, The price is the factor that most influences the resident's choice of drinking water.

OPTION A - INCORRECT
The mineral water that the member of lonilitown love buying (because it's cheap) was not said to have been imported from overseas. Hence, we must draw our conclusion properly.

OPTION B - INCORRECT
The municipality water may or may not be filtered through a sophisticated process, but that does not give a perfect insight into the question above. Thus, our conclusion cannot be perfectly drawn from this option.

OPTION C - INCORRECT
They may be tagged "not dedicated" (from the question) by not buying more expensive water than the one they can afford, but this is still not enough to justify and properly draw a conclusion to the statement above.

OPTION D - CORRECT
Yes! Why these residents could go for the water from the municipal is because of the price, they had to be economical, and they said they need to go for less costly water. However, it is said that the municipal should reduce the price if they want residents to go back to it.

OPTION E - INCORRECT
Advertising??? Here, that's a way out of context and not a good fit to solve this question. There was no form of advertising mentioned in the question. Thus, this means that this option will not be enough for us to draw a proper conclusion.
