I thought this is the day i am going share my story of 700+ but unfortunately i am sharing my story of 590.
My GMAT preparation started on last january, i went through a class room training and for nearly 4 months i have not done anything apart from my studies. My work performance went down, i havent met any of my friends, no movies, chit-chats, all i thought of is 700+.
Finally i scheduled my exam on June20th, took a 15 days off from office. Studied hard those 15 days and appeared for my exam, completed all CAT's that i got, took GMAT PREP (1st 590, 2nd 670) more than 10 times. However, my exam got stopped in the middle of verbal section and i rescheduled it on 20th July. I did completed my exam on 20th July with a 640 (V31,Q47) on my card. I know this was not my score of my potential, since i wanted to try once again, i scheduled my exam on 27th September. This time i didnt want to study plenty of materials so i used MGMAT CAT and MGMAT Question Banks.
I started scoring 700's in manhattan exams with/without essay's, i read all others story and thought that MGMAT 700 = 680-720 in real gmat. But, to my surprise i scored 590(V29,Q42) in the second attempt. I never scored less than 45 in quants, i dont know what happened. I know this score is disappointing.
I planned to apply Thunderbird, USC Moore, Geogiatech, Washingon-Foster, since all these universities do not have much deviation from my 640, i am confused whether to try once again.Seriously, quitting is not my option, but not sure whether it is a smart move to try once again.
Caution: Dont rely completely on MGMAT, though they have top quality questions with explanations i found no variety of questions and answers are predictable.
Thanks for everyone in this forum. Your comments are appreciated.
