A
ability + have is incorrect
like is incorrectly used

ability in is incorrect
able to is correct
ability for is certainly incorrect
so D out
also D uses like

E:
ability have become is wrong
has is needed

B
ability in providing is wrong.

I solved this using idioms and comparison
you can solve it using meaning also

Here I go
The ability dont increase
rather a person becomes able to

ABE are simply out

D says
scientist have become ever more accurate
and C says
Scientists provide mroe accurate models

so C is better

Hope it helps!!

The ability of scientists has not become accurate. The models have become accurate as scientist are now more able.
Can rule out A, B, D and E. We can also rule out 'D' for using ability for.
C it is.
Correct me if I am wrong.
