Hi,
I am new to this forum. Since I took Kaplan course, I have access to Kaplan Online resources and there 8 CAT's. Do you recommend buying Kaplan 800 book as well. What are the advantages. Also besides GMAT perp exams from MBA.com what other CAT exams do you recommend that reflect closely to real GMAT score.

Thanks,
RP

Hi RP:

Check out the review for Kaplan 800 on the GMAT Resource Wiki: https://www.beatthegmat.com/wiki/

I really liked this book--it has some great strategy for folks who intend to score in the 700+ range, but unfortunately doesn't provide much practice problems.

Nice supplement to OG.

From what I understand, Kaplan course materials overlap with the ones they sell in bookstores, so it probably wouldn't be worth it to buy more Kaplan tests. Get the GMATPrep and Princeton Review tests instead.
