ANyway, since we have "exercise(present tense)", we need to have "associate". c/d/e.

'than do' in C and D is also not right, a point to eliminate them. Can experts comment on this please?

Answer is "B" ... same as the previous Q, it is case of a parallelism....

I get that the answer is E, but I wanted clarity on a certain aspect of the parallelism. In choice E, calves exercise and associate ......... has to be made parallel to those raised ........
The question I have is - can parallelism be across tenses? exercise and associate - simple present; raised - simple past. I think we can ........ Any thougts?
