Option A :- Incorrect
This option is grammatically incorrect and does not follow syntax.

Option B :- Incorrect
There was a slight change in this option from the real question. However, as it tends to make a better grammatical construction, it flawed with the usage of fact. A fact is an already established idea of an hypothesis. The sentence in question has not been totally proven but a misconception.

Option C :- correct
There is a Proper syntax and grammatical errors were avoided here and the 'misconception' was described in a unique way with the use of the relative clause which expressed its notion.

Option D :- Incorrect
This option suffers brevity and it also tends to be wordy. True meaning of the question was diverted and it led to another meaning.

Option E :- Incorrect
Illogical constructions and grammatical errors marred this option, seemed no more than popular misconceived Flawed construction.
