I want to know when we use both , why do we need as well....

Tough one....
Correct idiom is Both X and Y
X and Y should be //

Only E follow fits here. But I couldn't understand use of as well

vaivish, what is the source of these questions? The questions don't seem to be of good quality. I don't think any of the choices given here would fit.

I also think E is correct answer
bco It is parallel and uses both........and correctly.

The only problem I see is "as well" is not needed.

All of the answers are horrible - this is neither a real GMAT question nor a reasonable facsimile thereof either. :lol:

hi...somebody gave some questions to me under the name of difficult SC. Hence i posted them on to the forum. But if this kind of questions are not possible on gmat. tehn just ignore this questions.
