OG - Diagnostic test

by bleacherseat » Sun Sep 21, 2008 1:34 pm
Is the diagnostic test of OG harder than the pratice questions in it ?

I certainly felt so. I'd like to know opinions here on the board. Also is this the standard of questions (diagnostic test questions) in real GMAT ?

Diagnostic test serves a purpose that is to give the test takers an idea about what areas they should be focusing and how GMAT can trick you on the subjects, which you think you know!

So the questions on the diagnostic tests are not the easiest ones, so the test does not give a wrong idea to the potential test takers.

It is not a CAT test either so it is just a standard test with good mix questions. GMAT prep CATs will give you a better idea of what you will be most likely to face with on the test day.

Good luck
