6 students in a group study different languages as specified:

Russian: 4
Ukrainian: 3
Hebrew: 2
Each student studies at least 1 language. It is also known that exactly 3 students learn exactly 2 languages. How many students are studying all languages?

0
1
2
3

The set formula is

Total = A+B+C+2(ABC)-(AB+BC+CA)

Inputting your values you get

6 = 4+3+2-3+2ABC

2ABC = Total - A - B - C + (AB+BC+CA) = 6 - 4 - 3 - 2 + 3 = 0

2ABC = 0
ABC = 0

Answer is A

I am very confused. In an earlier set problem (https://www.beatthegmat.com/percentage-t ... 4b4836ea0b),

I was told that for a set of overlapping problem, the formula is as below:
Total =Group 1+Group 2 +Group 3 -(Any 2) -2 *All +Neither
Please help where to use which formula.

Also,
the neither is 0 here

because
Each student studies at least 1 language.
