I don't know if I would say I beat the GMAT but I'm not trying to get into a top 10 school. Here is how I did it the quick way, cause I'm trying to get in Jan 09.
Read Barons's Q and V sections Monday - Friday
Saturday took GMATPrep test 1 - 600
Sunday - Friday worked on Kaplan GMAT Math Workbook
Saturday took Kaplan CAT test 1 - 520 (this shook me up)
Sunday took ManGMAT free test - 630
Monday-Thursday finished up to geometry in Kaplan Math Book and took Kaplan quizes. Also found the flash cards and started on those Monday -Thursday
Friday I took off.
Saturday Test day....610, also wanted to give you info to see how the different practice tests stack up, I know that was something I was curious about.
