As per the questionf(x)=f(1-x)
Substitute 1-x on for x in all the answer choices.
The answer should be the same is f(x)
f(x)=(x)^2(1-x)^2
f(1-x)=(1-x)^2[(1-(1-x)]^2
f(1-x)=(x)^2(1-x)^2

Easy way to solve this would be take x = 0 therefore f(1-x) is f(1)

Substitute 0 and 1 in all the choices and see which matches

D) will be it.

I should say that the credit for solving by picking 0 and 1 goes to Ron who is one of the instructors with Manhattan gmat.

How do you know 0 and 1, and not 1 and 2 for example.

0 and 1 are just what was chooses. It could be any 2

Test it with 1 and 2 You can eliminate some choices and lets say 2 choices still turn out to be true test it with 2 new numbers(easy to work with and will not take more time) to comfirm the right choice

Sometimes u get lucky in picking numbers that may reveal the flaw in all the choices except one which must be the right answer
