Hi...I want to do MBA from ISB.You are requested to kindly evaluate my profile.

Class X : 91.2%
Class XII : 90.8%
BTech : 8.5 CGPA
College : IIT Mandi(HP)
Work ex : 3.5 years
Organisation : GAIL(INDIA) LTD
Extra curricular activities and achievements :
1. member of college dramatics club
2. Played inter IIT in cricket and basketball
3. Awarded 3rd prize for a project done in BTech 2nd year
4. Committee member of the officer's mess at the current posting.
5. Member secretary of the township's library
6. Captain of the central region cricket team in the organisation.
7. Represented central region in the basketball tournament.
8. Experience of working in a hard location.
9. Coordinated pre commissioning and commissioning activities of the new process plant.

Consider the following points babaji31:

1. For reasons mentioned here, we do not speculate on school selection. That said, the non-common nature of your profile should definitely elicit a favorable initial response.
2. On the experience front, it will be important to understand how you have differentiated against your peers at GAIL for instance as well as what are your post-MBA plans. The GMAT score will be pretty important aspect too and you should aim high there given your IIT peer group average.
3. While your ECs look good in college, there doesn't seem to be anything after that? Recency effect is pretty important and with nothing in past 3-4 years, you may not get much credit for those.
