i have taken GMAT before and I knew that the headphone provided by the test centre is so heavy that it's a pain to wear it. Can I bring in the foam ones with me? Or it's an absolutely "no no" and I have to wear that heavy dirty one myself. The problem is I have to wear the headphone because the people around me last time kinda making lots of noise, i.e. hitting or may i say pounding the keyboard like no tomorrow; coughing nonstop....which all drove me crazy. sorry folks....
Hi tomatoeggs,
Unfortunately, you are NOT allowed to bring anything into the Computer Lab with you. Each Test Center provides something that will 'cancel out' noise - typically either headphones or ear plugs (but usually not both). Since you've been to this Test Center before - and you have some idea of what the testing conditions will be like the next time you take the GMAT - you might be able to better train for the experience (plan to take your practice CATs someplace that's a little 'noisier' so that you can get used to the potential distractions).
1) How did you score when you took the GMAT the last time?
2) What is your goal score?
