Verbal - Sentence Correction

Hi,

As per Manhattan Verbal following sentence is correct-
CORRECT: The company leadership is faltering- the CEO embarrassed himself on the news just last night- and the investors are restless.
Shouldn't it be "The company's leadership..............restless.?

Sometimes the word "company" is used as an adjective, as it is in that sentence. So I guess the sentence is ok.

Yes, such as in company car. Kind of informal though & would really disadvantage non-native speakers, so I sort of doubt it would appear on the GMAT as a correct answer. But I certainly wouldn't reject that as an answer on that basis if all of the other answer choices have more glaring errors.

For what its worth, I checked the dictionary and it does not list an adjective usage for company. But in colloquial English, nouns are often used as adjectives.
