A recent report determined that although only three percent of drivers on Maryland highways equipped their vehicles with radar detectors, thirty-three percent of all vehicles ticketed for exceeding the speed limite were equipped with them. Clearly, drivers who euip their vehicles with radar detectors are more likely to exceed the speed limit regularly than are drivers who do not.

The conclusion drawn above depends upon which of the following assumptions?

Negating the Assumption helps identify this one too! The conclusion goes "Clearly, drivers who equip their vehicles with radar detectors are more likely to exceed the speed limit regularly than are drivers who do not. Bingo *regularly*

When you negate D, the argument falls apart. Negation goes "Many of the vehicles that were ticketed were ticketed for exceeding the speed limit were not ticketed more than once in the time period covered by the report". Therefore for the argument to stand, drivers with radar equipped vehicles, who make up only 3% of the population had to have been repeatedly stopped to be associated with 33% of ticketed vehicles.
