I got the first one right, Ans is clearly C for it, but what about second question?
I suppose choice D is similar to case with rubber producing plants, and hence shouldn't be the answer. i narrowed down between C and D, and again by POE chose option C. But OA is given as D. Can someone explain the reasoning. No OE for this question :x

C) Certain antibiotics were derived from mold growing on cantaloupe.

This is analogous to a product derived from a species (a living thing)

However, D) Plastic example is not related to any species (a living thing).

Hence D). I hope this helps.

I think D is the right answer here.
