it says Northern Air depends for its success on economy and quick turnaround => economy and quick turnaround should be read together to imply cost effeiciency and turnaround.

if it were to mean the general economy, the sentence would have read "the economy and a quick turnaround for the fleet"

C. mechanics losing their jobs will not affect the success of Northern Air

E. affects the quick turnaround and therefore affects the success of Northern Air.
