Even though its a simple question, but somehow i could not get it right.

can anyone please explain why choice A is wrong?

Find the conclusion: Sugar price will not rise if the quota is removed

To weaken find an answer which tells you otherwise.

Another way to look at it:

1. Cause and effect: Cause = quota and effect = increased sugar price

To weaken look for an alternative cause for the same effect or show that effect happens but cause does not happen.

Answer should be B. It is not E because even before the implementation of Quotas, price "OCCASIONALLY" rose. But the trend mentioned here is "ever increasing" so prices cannot drop if it is ever increasing ..!
