Should be A

B: no info given about the host defense. It may or may not be there.

C: wasps may have an innate ability. There is no reason to believe they hang around to see what happens & then decide on the basis of that

D: No info about this either.

E: The cues may be visual, maybe something to do with smell, touch....that is not covered at all

I went little further (probably thought too much...) and chose B, which is the wrong choice.
