Multiple Tests

Dear Sirs,

I am relatively new to the forum and have enjoyed what I have read, however I have been unable to come across the answer to the question I am searching for.

Anyway, my question is this;

Do admissions teams take stock in all of the scores listed on your GMAT score report? For example;

Applicant A applies with 580, 620 and a 705 on his card

Applicant B applies with a 690.

Who will be viewed more favourably; is it only essentially your highest score which counts? Am I correct in assuming that only three scores are listed on your official score card? Would an admissions team be able to uncover GMAT scores dating back further than your last three tests (for example if you had a stinker of a 450 somewhere).

GMAT scores are valid for 5 years. Though schools can view your complete score report, they generally only consider the highest score. However, it is also looked upon negatively if you have taken the GMAT more than 3 times so be sure to prepare adequately before actually taking the test.
