Hi Everyone,

I'm very happy to report that today I took my first official GMAT and scored a 790 (50Q, 51V). I'm mainly on here to give everyone yet another example illustrating how learnable the GMAT really is. The first CAT I took (Manhattan) in February I scored a 650 on, which was relatively disappointing for me since I had spent roughly 20 ....... I know a lot of these posts gave me hope when I thought there was no way it was going to happen for me.

Your verbal score is simply fantastic. Can you share some ideas and tips on how you prepared for the verbal section and ended up with this score? I am taking practise tests like gmat prep and other free tests available online and cant cross 35 in verbal. Math I am scoring 48. Thanks in advance for your help.

I would say the my strategy for verbal was similar to quant.

Hi,

I am about to start studying, I will be dedicating my life to this for the next 10 weeks as I have no other obligations until then. I also purchased Magoosh Premium, The OG, and the full Manhattan series. How did you incorporate the Manhattan books into the Magoosh study plan? I'm sort of at a loss right now and I wanted to use Manhattan to shore up my quant since I know that will be my weakness. Thanks and congrats on the awesome score!
