The likely answer to your question is NO. Admissions Officers are savvy individuals - they know that typos happen sometimes, so you won't be rejected outright because of 1 typo. You have to respect the highly competitive nature of these types of Programs though - just about everyone who applies is a strong applicant, so the overall acceptance rates dictate that the odds are against every applicant.
