What is the order of admission decision factors for universities?
Such as GPA, GMAT, # of Accepted Student Rate, Gender Rate, Int. Student Rate, etc
Which one is more important for universities and how do they weight all these factors?

I am sure all universities have different weights on these criterias but I am looking for a comprensive comparison..

Dear thegmatbeater,

Contrary to popular opinion, there is no secret formula or actual numeric weights given to these measures. Schools evaluate candidates holistically and some items are more significant for some than others. For example, for someone with less than 2 years of work experience, the GMAT and GPA can take on greater significance. Likewise, for those with 8 years of work experience, a low GPA might not be as significant as for someone with only 1 year of work experience.

It is important to present your candidacy to the best of your ability and do your best to mitigate any potential weaknesses when you can. The rest is a little luck and what the rest of the applicant pool looks like.
