Profile Analysis required

Hi,

I just finished with my GMAT on the 4th of November, I am still waiting on my official score report. Unofficial is this: IR3, 710 (q50, v35).

Now I am looking to apply to business schools within India, and abroad.

Here is the rest of my profile:

20 months of work experience as Sales Analyst at JLL (International Property Consultancy Firm)
1st Division (66.66%) with a Finance Major at college level in Bachelor of Business Studies from SSCBS in Delhi University
84.4% in my 10th Grade, 81.6% in my 12th Grade

Although I haven't won any competitions on a country/state level, I have won several on a college/school level.

Keenly looking to major in Human Resources during my MBA.

Hi,

Well I have no preference as such because I don't have any family outside of India. However, I do wish to work after my mba wherever I do my mba from. So, in this regard I have heard (don't know how correct this is) that it is difficult for Indian nationals to find work in Singapore and the job market in UK is terrible.

So I am pretty lost when it comes to this question.

While those claims may have some truth to them, after an MBA, you put yourself in a different pool, so you're not as exposed to those vulnerabilities as they are more generic to the market. That's not to say you should ignore them, but you should consider looking closer at placement rates for the schools you are considering and the employers that recruit out of those schools. I think schools in the top 15-25 make sense to target in the US for stretch programs along with a couple schools in the top 25-40 for aligned programs. This diverse strategy will give you the best shot at attaining your goals in the next year.
