Yes, online programs are generally looked down upon for a few reasons. The academic rigor is not nearly the same as taking a traditional program. Therefore the admissions requirements are typically much, much lower (it there are any at all). Also, online programs don't really have the recruiting aspect or social expeirence that many going to business school are looking for.
