Does test prep strategy for someone who is aiming for a 650-680 score differ from the strategy of someone aiming for a 750?

There are a lot of forum discussions of 700+ difficulty problems. Would it be wiser to spend my time studying those in order to have a fighting chance on one or to use that time perfecting problems in my score-range?

On test day, I don't want to waste 4 minutes on a problem that I can't get right, but I need to be able to recognize the do-able ones. I'm not sure how to prepare for this.

The essential skills that you need to score 650 are the same ones that you need to score 750 (it's just that at the higher level you need to be more Tactical overall and have a higher level of 'precision' in your work).

Back in August, you posted that you had studied for a couple of months, but had not taken any FULL-LENGTH CATs yet. Have you taken any yet? If you have, then how have you scored?

Any adjustments that you have to make to your study plan and routine will be based heavily on how you perform on your CATs. Thus, it's tough to offer any advice until you've posted that information.
