550 Bschool admissions

Hi Team,

I recently completed my GMAT with a score of 550 (39Q,26V). However, due to certain circumstances I would not want to retry the GMAT again.
I am looking for colleges which are good with Operations Management, 2 year fulltime MBA over the US,Canada and Singapore. With an Engineering background, and 3 years of IT experience in an MNC, can you kindly suggest me which b-schools would be of best choice to apply.

Can you tell me what are the circumstances that make you believe you shouldn't take the GMAT again?
I ask because with a 550 you will only get into a very low ranked school, and you may not find a job afterwards, and hence it is usually worth the while to retake.

Jon, To be frank I did attempt it a second time and got a real bad score. I lost my motivation to go for it again.
I do see a lot of colleges have a mid 80% range of say 600-700. That does mean a 550 would be accepted right?

Actually it means that you are 50% below a "normal" score and for the school to take you on, you should have a MUCH stronger profile than the average candidate.

I know the idea of retaking seems very unattractive, but trust me, with a 550, it's really your only good option.
