I took the test today. Got a 600 (Q43, V29). Here's my debrief:
I have been studying for 2 months. The score trail was as below:
PR1: 430
PR2: 530
PR3: 530
PR4: 490
PowerPrep: 590
GmatPrep1: 590
GmatPrep2: 640
GmatPrep2.2: 640
Real Thing - 600
Test Day:
Woke up with a real killer headache. Revised a little through the day and mostly prepared myself mentally for the test.
Drove to the test center 1 hour early and they let me take the test at that time.
The test was a weird experience.
AWA section went smooth. Then came the real killer the Quant section. I went numb after the first few questions. I tried a lot but confidently i think i answered only 10 questions.
I answered the verbal section the best, was on top of my game. Infact i even double checked the answers at times. In general i found the questions rather easy. I thought this was the effect of a messed up quant section
After finishing the test I was shocked to see the results. Frankly I was expecting a 500 something. The next shocker was the low Verbal score.
I am a little too buzzed still. Dont know what really went wrong. I wasn't going to apply for another 2 years as i still like my job
May take the test again but dont know for sure. For the moment i am happy i came out alive.
