A) This does not makes sense. We do not compare the characteristics of the surface by taking in cosideration the diameter
B) This again is nowhere related. We just talk about the surfaces and not the reasons why a moon is the nearest.

D) This the trap answer. But actually this is not the reason for the introduction of the diameter. The main aim is to talk about the geological activity. The next line talks about it
