I went to general management level within 7 year's time and then move on to founding my own company. However, the 4-year entrepreneurship experience turns out to be a serious setback in my professional life. I believe I'm still in my learning curve as an entrepreneur and am in need of further education, e.g. MBA, to get ahead again.
Is the unsuccessful entrepreneurship experience an disadvantage for the addmission even if a high GMAT score is secured?

Dear gwendolinecn,

A failed entrepreneurial venture is not a negative as sometimes those teach you more than the successes. Additionally, more ventures fail than succeed so you should not feel horrible about it but use the experience in your application to demonstrate your need for an MBA. Start thinking in terms of the positive and what you learned versus focusing on the fact the business failed.
