Since lab work constitutes 2/3 of the class grade -- and the remainder of the class grade is determined by the final exam -- let the class consist of 2 parts of lab work and 1 part final exam, for a total of 3 parts.
Since the desired grade for all 3 parts is 75, the total grade for all 3 parts = 3*75 = 225.
Since the 2 parts of lab work each earn a grade of 80, the total grade for the 2 parts of lab work = 2*80 = 160.
Thus, the total grade for the 1 part final exam = 225-160 = 65.
