If Zt< -3, is Z< 4?

1) Z<9
z=5 and t=-5 ;is Z< 4---NO
Z=3 and t=-5 ;is Z< 4---YES

2) t<-4
z=5 and t=-5 ;is Z< 4---NO
Z=3 and t=-5 ;is Z< 4---YES

1 and 2: Z<9 and t<-4
z=5 and t=-5 ;is Z< 4---NO
z=3 and t=-5 ;is Z< 4---YES

Hence E

I think B is sufficient:

Question Stem:
ZT < -3

Statement 2:
T < -4

Plug into Q-Stem:
-4Z < -3
Z > 12

Hence Z cannot be < 4 --> Suff

Statment 1 is insuff since we have no info on T.

Answer B. Correct me if Im wrong

-4Z < -3

Z > -3/-4

Z > 3/4 not Z > 12
