TA/RA counts as work experience?

Hi
I am applying to the MBA program after completing my Master's. I have a good 2.5 years of RA/TA experience during grad school apart from my 2 yr full time work experience after my Master's. Does this count as work experience? Because it wasn't full-time.

No... This experience wouldn't be considered as work experience. Work During Grad school is never considered as work experience however it adds to the flavor to your application that you were simultaneously active elsewhere as well.
