correct comparison is done between the number of nerve cells "in" mammals and "in" newts

what is the OA ?

I second

lower in mammals. than in newts- parralle, which correctly identifies newts.

this expresses the paralell comparision: the number, ... the number.

E , which cannot modify for newt ( animal)
