Application without GMAT for EMBA

hi,

i'm planning to apply in round 2 of for Sept 2015 class of EMBA. However I'm still preparing for my GMAT exam and was wondering if I could proceed with other parts of my application.

Would schools allow you to put the application through and have the GMAT score sent later?

I'm targetting the top 10 schools.

Hello jorhul,
I suggest you check with someone in admissions for each EMBA program to which you plan to apply. Most programs that require a GMAT score won't start reviewing your file until after the application is considered "complete" (meaning all application components have been received). This policy was in place when I worked in Admissions for NYU Stern's Executive MBA program. You could still work on the other parts of your application in the meantime so that they're all ready and as soon as you take the GMAT you can submit the GMAT report immediately.
Also, some EMBA programs don't require GMAT scores so if that's something that appeals to you, check into programs with this policy (I know Kellogg and NYU Stern are two programs without the GMAT requirement). Good luck!

thx Dina.. in your opinion how are they ranked? I know Kellogg has multiple campuses.. not sure how the US one is rated.. same with NYU stern.. appreciate it thx.
