Dear Navya,

I feel ranking of the college is really important because you obviously expect good placements when you go to a well recognized college.

Yes but there are many other essential aspects which should be seen while choosing an MBA college. Mainly the quality education because that is what you'll require in future.

But don't you think that ranking of the college matters as it becomes an influential factor for employers while selecting personnel.

Yes I agree with you...ranking is important, especially when you are expecting a good package from the companies. It holds a respect and adds value to your resume if you have taken degree from a reputed college.

Ok. But when you are choosing a school for your MBA, you'll want to make sure that you're getting the best education for your money and there are many colleges in Asia which are not really popular though they provide quality education, infrastructures and library holdings. One should not judge a college only by its ranking.

Hmm...it's worth noting that rankings do not mean everything. See...ranking just serves as a guide but efficient professors and their rapport with students is more important.

But when the ranking is done by recognized authors they obviously go through all these things and then only give ranks to colleges. Ultimately you are getting quality education, good placements and everything. And you get a ready list of colleges to choose from.

There are many good colleges in Asia. Few of them are The Nanyang Business School, IIM University, S.P. Jain School of Global Management. Melbourne Business School is also good.

I have heard a lot about S.P. Jain Global. One of my friends is an alumnus of S.P. Jain Global he said it's a wonderful place to do your MBA from as it gives you an opportunity to explore your own potential.

I think ISB College is also not a bad option. I have heard that faculty over there is really good.

yeah...Doing MBA from S.P. Jain School of Global Management is really worth it as you develop a multicultural perspective because of its tri city MBA model. It has been ranked #5 in Asia by Forbes. It is also among the top 20 business schools of the world. so go for it !

Global exposure is what is important when you are doing an MBA course moreover studying and working for local company projects in three different cities like Dubai, Singapore and Sydney is like a cherry on the top. That is why even I would suggest you to choose S.P. Jain School Of global management.
