Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, so different courses will suit different people. I would recommend taking a practice test to see how close you are to your goal score and where you need improvement. For example, you may be very close to your goal score in verbal, but still need a lot of help with quant (or vice versa). If that is the case, you may only want to purchase the quant or verbal part of a course MGMAT lets you do this, but the Economist does not.

Some other differences between the two:
-Economist GMAT tutor has a 50-70 point score guarantee while MGMAT has no score guarantee
-MGMAT has video instruction while the economist is written
-Practice questions Economist- 5,000, MGMAT--4,200
-With the Economist you get the added benefit of several live tutoring sessions and at least 50+ "ask a tutor" e mails

Hope this helps!!
