Most of the test prep companies on this site offer either free access to their learning materials or some kind of free trial period. So, you might want to try each of them out and see which works best for you.

Hi madhursaxena123,

Have you taken any FULL LENGTH practice CAT tests yet? If so, then how did you score? If not, then you can download 2 for free from www.mba.ncom. A full CAT takes about 4 hours to complete, so you should make sure to set aside enough time to take the entire Test. You'll likely find certain parts of it to be difficult and you might even have a pacing problem, but that's okay. It's important to get a sense of your current strengths and weaknesses.

And Brent is correct; there are plenty of options when it comes to selecting an online GMAT Course. You should sample them all, then choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

Read the Number Properties and Geometry book of MGMAT.
Sign in at empowergmat and use the quant syllabus.
for verbal: sentence correction of mgmat (if no budget constraints) and e-Gmat.

I agree with the other posts that it is important to first take a practice test to see how close you are to your target score. You might be closer than you think, especially if you have a strong math or grammar background. If this is the case you might only need part of a course (ie just verbal or just quant). A lot of the courses allow you to purchase them in parts. Other important things to consider from a course are:
  • number of teaching hours
    money back guarantees
additional resources that you are provided
whether or not you get live support
how long you have access to the course
