my name is syed nishar haider. i am an automobile eng n currently working in bridgestone as a management traniee. i have scored 80.2% in class 10th n 82.5% in 12th. as far as my eng. is concern i have scored 64.5%(overall) n 75.5% in final year from mumbai university. is it possile to get into top league college with 1 year of work experience? if yes then tell me the name of colleges in u.s or u.k.

To be honest, I think you probably need to work another 2-3 years building a strong resume and acquiring some managerial skills before you apply to business school. Competition is fierce for engineers from India at US and UK business schools. If you truly desire to get your MBA from a top school in these countries, then start building a strong resume now to put yourself in a competitive position when you apply.

There are many programs that admit students with only 1 year of work experience. Whether or not you would be admitted and go on to secure employment in the US/UK is really a matter of how well you present yourself. If you feel you can put together a strong package and set yourself apart from similar applicants, then you should apply. The job search is a function of your efforts and available opportunities. You should be prepared to start your job search on the day you start business school and devote time to it every week.
