Brent, Please help!

After the 60-Day study guide Quant, I took the GMAT prep 1. My Quant is still at 46 (Q46)
I am damn worried.
I am concentrating on verbal now, in fact, I have to.
But what do I do to increase my quant score (to at least Q49)? I know I do not have a shaky quant base (I am an engineering undergrad), but I am missing out on formulae many times.
Please advice !

Hi tanvis1120,

When you start at such a high level (Q46), it's hard to raise your score.
That said, you're still only about 1/3 the way through the Guide. There will be plenty of time to identify/strengthen areas of weakness (although it's unlikely that you have many weaknesses )

Other than "missing out on formulae many times," have you identified other areas of weakness?

Yes Brent, actually i have identified a handful of other weaknesses. I am still in process of jotting down all. But, integer properties and permutation-combination problems also fall under pain areas.
And this Q46 seems low because the GMAT prep 1 questions were pretty easy this time. Hence, I expected more.
One more thing is that I have, so far, studied from OG13, Additional reinforcements and Kaplan.
Do I need to get the Manhattan strategy guides?
Do the books have practice problems in them as well?
