Selecting colleges before GMAT

Hey Guys! I've a procedure based question for the GMAT applications.

We're required to submit names of 5 colleges to whom we want to send our scores for free. However, I'm giving my GMAT in the next 2 weeks and plan to apply for 2016 entry. Will the colleges still have my scores till I start applying next year? Or will I have to send my scores again next year? Thanks in advance for any insights on this!

27 M Indian
4 years work experience in management consulting (Top 4)
Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech) - Biotechnology
CGPA - 9.03 (out of 10)

Once you send your official score reports to schools, you need not send it again but you need to confirm with the school whether they received your official scores or not. Thanks for the PM - I figured it would be easier to provide an answer here in case others had the same question! Nope, once is enough. Once you send your scores to a school, they have access to your record so you're good to go. You don't have to check up either to see if they got them. The systems work and they'll be notified.

This is a big relief! I kept wondering if I would have to resend my scores again next year while applying.

One final question - Is there a time limit till which the colleges retain the scores? Is it 5 years (equal to the validity of the GMAT score?
