Terrible Wording. Should file a law suit against PrincetonR.

Am I right or is the wording on this question total horse sh%$? "INCLUDING"??? When I read that I was like what the heck??

In a certain apartment complex, 1/4 of the apartments have terraces. If 1/8 of the apartments have skylights, of which 1/5 of those that have terraces, what fraction of the apartments have neither terraces nor skylights?

Hi johndoe88,

If this is the exact wording from a practice question, then I agree that it's badly worded. The Official GMAT words its questions very carefully and tests them all to make sure that they can be properly interpreted (and that there's no inherent bias or mis-interpretation).

I don't think that I'd go so far as to think about filing a lawsuit, but if you find that certain practice materials aren't of a high-enough quality (or you just don't find the materials to be helpful), then you should consider investing in other resources. Maybe this is just a typo.
